hockey done for the year 2011

last night my vancouver canucks, lost game 7 to the boston bruins, and congratulations to the bruins for winning the cup. iam very proud of my team for the wonderful year they gave us. and i am sad for the fans and the team, but that pain will pass, there is always next year.
   But i am concerned, for the behavior of some sports fans to go out of control, and to even riot, just because there team lost. i am a very passionate sports fan and i love and support all my teams, but if we lose the stanley cup, superbowl or world series, does that give me the right to get in my wheelchair, go down the streets where i live, yelling screaming and causing damage to my neighbors property, just because we lost, And i feel bad for the good fans of vancouver, who will absorbe the loss with dignity, and because of the rioting, the city gets a bad reputation, of being a bad sports city, when they lose.
    Lets hope the people responcible, for the damage, will learn that there are safer ways, to dissipate, the pain you feel as a fan, my hope is all sports fans, win or lose will learn to celebrate there team always in a positive way, thomcatpurrs (thom).

tonight is the night

Tonight is the night, my canucks vs boston for the stanley cup, boston has won before, vancover hasnt, so its been 40 years as a canuck fan im here waiting to see if we finally get our first stanley cup. GO BLUE!!!!!    bring this cup home, lets go Canucks!!!!!!
